What: The Black Bottom VegFest with Cult Classic Brewing features a family-friendly, community-minded, and veg-centered outdoor festival with live music, food trucks, a farmer's market, environmental education, health & wellness fair, kids activities and silent auction, followed by a film screening of The Last Pig.
When: Sunday, June 30th. Festival runs 11am-3pm and the film begins inside the brewery at 3:30pm

Who: Although the event is veg-centered and all food will be vegetarian and vegan, it is open to all eaters and lovers of food!

Why: This event is a celebration of veg-centered and plant based eating! It's also a fundraiser for Black Bottom's Cookie for a Cause Fund, which supports farmers transitioning out of animal production. In addition, proceeds from our silent auction will be used to benefit Poplar Spring and Star Gazing Farm Animal Sanctuaries.

Why: Kent Island Beach Cleanups (KIBCU) is an organization whose mission is to protect and preserve the beauty of the beaches, parks, and estuaries of Kent Island, MD through regular cleanups, education, awareness, social and communal responsibility and advocacy.
